I think now is a good time to close this blog. I still have many ideas and discoveries to write about, but somehow they seem to mature more easily, so that the urge to shape them with words in a public page seems to fade now. I also have other venues for churning ideas, images and text: the continuous update of lecture notes, the editing of Wikipedia, contributions to Wikimedia Commons, and most especially, hours spent standing in a classroom every week explaining complicated things. There will be more, and I feel comfortable letting go of this one.
I don’t look back over the six‐year blog to find meaning, a pattern, or a sense of completeness; but I can wholeheartedly say writing here has been a great pleasure. I look forward to telling my grandkids: Yes I have been to the blogosphere.
