Briefmarken

I didn’t have coins to buy stamps at the machine‐which‐gives‐you‐change‐only‐in‐stamps, so I waited ten minutes in the post office to buy them from a human. I received the kind which stick only when they are wet.
Working at the Deutsche Post must be quite the experience. You can make xenophobic remarks in front of ten customers one day, and receive flowers from a customer another. Two‐hour lunch breaks are a thing. Your back‐end logistics are so perfected that you ship three sheets of paper right across the globe for next to no money. Your customers must spit on your products to make them work. And then you step outside in the evening and it is 2018.
